HIGHLIGHTS

Top furniture importing countries.
Imports, 2013-2019. Current US$ billion

The world leading importers of furniture are the United States, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Canada.

About two third of the US imports was from Asia (China, Vietnam, Malaysia). Within the total US furniture imports from Asia, the share of China is decreasing because of trade tensions between the US and China.

Preliminary estimates for 2019 indicate that US imports of furniture are decreasing.
