This report aims at providing a detailed overview of the status of IT spending in the India Government sector, impact of NeGP and the implementation status of various e-Governance initiatives (Mission Mode Projects, Core Infrastructure Projects etc.), as well as the new business practices being adopted to deliver government services to both the individual citizen and business entities.

The report will examine the status of implementation of new enterprise applications such as HCM, ECM, BI & Analytics, Cloud, security solutions, and adoption of modern project management practices as well as capacity building measures.

It will also provide an estimate of the likely current (FY 2013-14) IT spending and estimated future growth. The report will be based on extensive primary and secondary research on the status and role of IT applications in the India Government sector, backed by in-depth interviews with key Central and state govt. IT decision makers and influencers.
