云端运算讨论会
生命科学研究开发的应用和进步

为提高因应生物医学软件环境的性能，许多的研究机关和小组正在建构地方运算资源（因应将来数据量增加的簇运算（cluster computing）和储存解决方案）。如果今后组织内对演算处理的需求高涨，这些资源就有可能无法充分因应。云端运算是地方簇运算和储存解决方案的用户能转移到更有效率的新环境之技术解决方案。
生命科学关联的组织和很多研究所，利用组织内外的云端来共同合作和演算、因应储存等需求。该讨论会介绍创药和药剂设计、研究和合作、分子建模、下一代排序、蛋白质体（Proteome）、SaaS(Software as a Service)、生物情报学等领域实际的使用情况，亦采用生命科学领域的云端运算利用形态、课题及有效性、节减经费效果、遵守法规等问题。请勿错过这个能与意见领袖一起寻找作为外部IT服务及内部处理模式、能有效利用云端运算方法的讨论会。

Additionally, vendors/consultants who provide products and services to these biopharmaceutical companies are offered opportunities for podium presentation slots based on a variety of Corporate Sponsorships.
