生命科学用之IT硬件
从组织内多数个独立数据库，集成到一个特别的中央数据库，以作为数据分析及数据探勘（Data Mining)之用，这个过程本身是一件非常困难的事情。本专题会议主要探讨有效率之数据储存．管理．移动用之各种技术。此外，亦将探讨数据工作流程管理，以及取代传统计算机计算簇之新方法等相关主题。

TRACK 2:

基因体学用之生物信息
超越SNP、CNV、GWAS、序列、基因发现之框架，为了集成．理解从基因型(genotype)至表现型( phenotype)之基因功能，必须导入信息工具来处理大量基因数据。本专题主要针对比对上之误差、BAC数据库之鉴别、复制因子到DNA之定量结合、剪接体(spliceosomes)规则排列之模型、推定机能基因多型性(polymorphisms)之检测等主题，进行各种发表演说。参加者将可以与来自febit biomed、Georg-August-University、Keygene NV、Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics Computational Biology、Parc Cientific de Barcelona、Uppsala University、University Claude Bernard等所属的生物信息研究者进行深入交流。

|
生命科学用之IT软件
本专题会议主要探讨结构，数据库，品质、可靠性、执照、以及智能财产权等问题，及其与系统、程式、应用软件等的关系。在案例学习中，将介绍支持药物发明及药发开发过程的计算机系统及数据库管理的活用方法。己经确认的主题包括云端计算、wiki、公开资源、信息学集成成果等。此外，来自Genome Quebec and Montreal Heart Institute Pharmacogenics Centre、Research Crossroads之机构及企业将进行发表演讲。

TRACK 4:
|
数据集成及知识管理
本专题会议主要探讨用来改善R&D生産性及决策过程之体学技术、生物标记开发、系统生物学中数据转换换及管理。参加本论坛将可以学习如何集成数据来源、加速R&D决策者决定，以及如何克服困难等。会议主题包括在促进药物开发之革新性及生产性之信息学活用、化学数据及生物学数据之集成、数据探勘、利用信息工具之转译研究、知识管理、经路分析及集成等。此外预定安排Pfizer、M.I.T.、AstraZeneca、European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL)、Novartis、Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO)等机构及企业将进行发表演讲。
