Abstract
VDC is pleased to announce the release of its three reports on the Powerline Surge Suppressor market, as part of its 2008 Power Protection Market Intelligence Program. These studies analyze shipments of power line surge suppressors to the Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), and Asia-Pacific regions. The reports are designed to serve as a marketing tool for companies who currently manufacture or resell powerline surge suppressors, or for companies who are considering entering these markets.
Research Highlights
Shipments of plug-in powerline surge suppressors to the American market, which totaled $US 548.9 million in 2012, are expected to reach $US 661.2 million in 2012, a compounded annual growth rate of 3.8%. Shipments of hard-wired surge suppressors were $US 310.6 million in 2007 and with growth exceeding that of line cord products, will reach $US 413.3 million in 2012.
