Abstract
This study contains IDC' s actual 2007 router results and 2008-2013 forecast estimates for Western Europe revenue, unit shipments, and installed base. Forecasts are provided for five categories: high end, midrange, low end, SOHO, and residential.
"The router market in Western Europe is increasingly becoming mature and commoditised. As a result, IDC expects that in Western Europe during the forecast period, router revenues will decline at a CAGR of 0.2%, from $5.59 billion in 2007 to $5.54 billion in 2013," comments Sylvia Wünsche, research analyst, European Enterprise Networks in IDC' s European Telecommunications and Networking Group.
