"The Austria mobile communications market continues to be one of the most mature and highly penetrated markets in Western Europe. For the past year, it was a rather disputed space, not only because of the significant launches of innovative services carried over the latest technologies, but also due to the progressive offers in the no-frills price-elastic segment," said Joao da Silva, research analyst for IDC' s European Wireless and Mobile Communications service.
