Health Industry Insights' Leading Indicators in Healthcare IT Spending Survey is a quarterly research effort that queries healthcare executives on planned IT spending, technology adoption behavior, and other IT-related topics. Data is gathered via a Web-based survey.
Rachele Manning, senior research analyst at Health Industry Insights, states, "Any concerns about a recession don' t seem to be evident within healthcare IT. Overall, 70% of respondents indicated a planned increase in software spend, as compared to 60% and 30% for hardware and services, respectively."
